care in temporary homes until they reach an
age that they can placed for adoption.

The center is a work site for veterinary students
to expand their surgical skills.
The center has been host to the University
of Florida veterinary students,
Adult Educational Vet Assistant program
and students from abroad. |

Presentations such as pet care and
responsibility are offered to the
Marion County schools and other
interested groups. Tours are available
at our facililty. For information call 671-8700. |

The Animal Center has a volunteer
program where animal lovers can spend
time assisting customers or help with
the care of the animals.
