Citrus industry in
North-central Florida
has greatly diminished
since the freezes in the
early 80's killed off
most of the groves. Much
of the industry has
moved south of the
freeze line in Florida.
Homeowners, though,
still enjoy having
citrus trees in their
yards and on a small
scale, the trees are
much easier to manage
and protect.
