  Food Safety

We help consumers to better understand the importance of proper handling of food to reduce risk of food-borne illness. Today, food-borne illness is a greater challenge to both home and commercial food handlers as our culture continues to change what, how and when we eat.

Programs are designed to assist home and commercial food handlers in better understanding food hazards and promoting safe food handling practices to help reduce and eliminate risk for food-borne illness.

Programs are offered at the Extension Office as well as locations throughout the community. To arrange an educational program for your group please call Nancy Gal.
