Thank you for your interest in the Marion County Airport.
The 792 acre airport features two active, lighted runways. The
airport is not controlled. Our most recent additions have been
the construction of two new buildings housing 20 T-hangars. The
T-hangars are each individually insulated to reduce the
temperature inside the hangar and provide for 5 wall outlets in
each hangar, bright lighting (inside and out) and water on each
corner to enhance the quality of the facilities to the tenant.
Improvements underway include the repaving of the main runway
5/23 including upgraded runway lighting and the addition of 59ft
of runway surface that will allow for 5,000ft x 100ft of total
runway. The secondary runway 9/27 will also soon be remarked and
transitioned to runway 10/28.
