Lost and Found Pets

Important Information About the Lost and Found Pet Search.

Lost a pet? Stray animals are brought in by animal control officers or by concerned citizens. Search for your pet using the form below and click "Show Pets at Animal Services." The results will show the animals currently in our stray areas and as well as animals available for adoption that originally came to our shelter as strays.

Click "Show Pets Found by Public" to see found animals that are not at the Animal Center. Not all animals will have photos. This is because a citizen may report a found animal but not provide a photo.

You may also register your lost pet. You will receive an e-mail if a matching found pet is registered. You will only receive the e-mail if the pet is found and registered through PetHarbor by a member of the public, not if the pet is turned into the Animal Center or is brought in by animal control officers. It's important to check the pets at Animal Services often, even if you register the lost pet.

Found an animal? Click below to register found pets. You will receive an e-mail if a matching lost pet is registered.

Important! If you are looking for an animal to adopt, please use the adoptable pet search. Some of the animals in the lost pet search are not available for adoption. If the animal does become available, it will be listed under the adoptable pets. Animal Services will not "hold" or take requests from citizens or rescue groups for animals that are on our lost pages.

NOTE:  Registering your found pet implies your agreement that you will neither ask for nor accept money for the return of someone's lost pet.
