                          RESOLUTION NO. 04-R-98

A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MARION COUNTY, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING FEE SCHEDULES FOR BUILDING PERMITS PROVIDING FOR REPEAL, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.


WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Marion County, Florida is authorized to establish fees pursuant to Marion County Ordinance No. 01-34; and

WHEREAS, the Board desires by this Resolution to establish fees for the administration and enforcement of said Ordinance.

NOW, THEREFORE, be it Resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of Marion County, Florida:
 
   
SECTION 1. PERMIT FEE POLICY. All permit applications will be charged an application fee, payable at time of application, and an inspection fee, based on a minimum number of inspections per permit type, payable at permit issuance. Additional inspections, partial inspections, and/or re-inspections will generate added inspection fees which must be paid prior to issuance of the Certificate of Occupancy/Completion.   top
