Plan Review is responsible for checking the project documents (plans and
written specifications) for compliance with the current applicable codes
and ordinances. The division is staffed with State of Florida Certified
Plans Examiners.
This process is mandated by the Florida Building Code and can save an
applicant time and money by identifying potential code violations before
materials and labor are spent. Plans examiners will contact an applicant
if additions or modifications are required to the plans submitted.
