Project Information
Welcome to the web site for the Belleview Bypass and Baseline Road Reconstruction final design projects. Separate sets of construction plans will be developed for each project.
Belleview Bypass
begins at US 441 and ends at
Baseline Road
(SR 35) across from SE
92nd Place
.
The Belleview Bypass will be a new
four-lane divided rural roadway with a 40-foot depressed median and
swales along both sides of road. The travel lanes will be
12-feet wide with 4-foot paved inside shoulders and 10-foot paved
outside shoulders. Storm water runoff from the roadway will be directed into stormwater treatment ponds.

Baseline Road (SR 35) Reconstruction
begins at
SE 92nd Place
and continues to just south of CR 464.
The reconstruction of
Baseline Road
will consist of widening the current two lane facility into a four-lane divided urban roadway, which will be expandable to a six-lane urban roadway in the future. The travel lanes will be 12-feet in width and on-road, four-foot bicycle lanes will be provided along both sides. Sidewalks will also be provided along both sides of the roadway. A raised median, 46-feet in width will be provided to allow for the future expansion to the six-lane facility. Curb and gutter will direct stormwater runoff from the roadway into underground pipes and then to stormwater treatment ponds.
