Commissioner Charlie Stone
As I assume my position as a newly elected County Commissioner of
Marion County, I look forward to the next four years with enthusiasm.
I realize the issues are many and the challenges will be difficult,
but we must work together to improve our County. Solid waste, water
quality, roads and environmental issues are but a few of the issues
created by fast paced growth in Marion County.
The Marion County Commission should stay the course with its mission
statement of being committed to enhancing the quality of life for its
citizens. We must plan and implement policies that insure responsive,
aligned, and cost effective services to our citizens.
As we structure our goals and objectives for this year, I look forward
to the challenges in making the correct decisions and appreciate your
support to bring about the continued and enhanced quality of life we
all share in Marion County.
