DISASTER ASSISTANCE
This program is designed to
provide emergency disaster assistance to very low, low, and
moderate income homeowners to address emergency housing needs.
The maximum grant is $3,000.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Condition must
be due to a declared disaster or state of emergency
«
Home must be
owner-occupied
«
Household must
be certified as very-low, low, or moderate income and not have
financial resources available for the repairs
«
Mobile homes
are not eligible

Tree and debris
removal to make the housing unit habitable

Interim repairs
to avoid further damage to home

Supplies to
weatherproof damaged home

Building permits
«
Post disaster
repairs not covered by insurance

Expenses
to prevent or alleviate flooding of home such as sand
bags, sand, pump rental, fans, etc.

Temporary relocation
expenses not to exceed 30 days
