in the SHIP (State Housing Initiative Partnership)
Rehabilitation Program.

This program is designed to
assist homeowners with needed repairs or additions to improve
health, safety, and the structural integrity of the home.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
«
Must be located
in Marion County, but outside the city limits of
Ocala
«
Must be owner-occupied
«
Property taxes
& mortgage payments must be current
«
Household must
be certified as very-low or low income
ELIGIBLE REPAIRS

Sewer, water,
plumbing
«
Insulation,
windows, doors
«
Heating & cooling
systems
«
Electrical wiring
«
Structural supports
«
Deteriorated
siding, porches, steps
«
Handicapped
accessibility
«
Additions to
alleviate over-crowding
There are no payments required on the 0% interest SHIP loan.
It will be a lien/2nd 30 year mortgage on your home.
If you decide to sell or refinance your home or if the deed
changes names, you will be required to pay the loan back in
full.
