Sustainability

With an expected population increase of over 150,000 over the next 20 years, it's important our county sustains its natural resources and rural landscape residents’ value.

The Community Sustainability Program builds partnerships with residents, developers, and policymakers in an effort to improve environmental stewardship within the community.

We provide leadership and guidance on residential and commercial green-building practices, water conservation and alternative energy sources. By addressing these core issues now, we are helping to ensure future generations inherit a clean, vibrant, and self-sufficient community.
