food safety Today, food-borne illness is a greater challenge to both home and commercial food handlers as our culture continues to change what, how and when we eat.

We help consumers to better understand the importance of proper handling of food to reduce risk of food-borne illness.

Programs are designed to assist home and commercial food handlers to better understand food hazards and promote safe food-handling practices to help reduce and eliminate risk for food-borne illness.

Programs are offered at the Extension Service, as well as locations throughout the community. To arrange an educational program for your group, please contact the Marion County Extension Service.
