Master Gardener Plant Clinic

Got plant or garden-related questions? We've got anwsers.

The Master Gardener Plant Clinic was established as a service for citizens needing information on landscape, garden, and plant-related issues specific to our region. To contact the Master Gardeners, residents can either call, e-mail, or stop by the office between the hours of 9am to 12pm and 1pm to 4pm Monday thru Friday.

The clinic is located at the Marion County Extension Service. Check out the Home Gardening section of the website for garden-related information.

Mobile Plant Clinic

The main purpose of the mobile plant clinic is to provide another venue for Master Gardeners to interact with the public and answer plant-related questions.

Since its completion in April 2007, the 5’ X 10’ mobile plant clinic has been to numerous events around the County, including the Master Gardener Spring Festival in Ocala, Women in the Outdoors in Salt Springs, Fort McCoy Community Center, Rainbow Springs Springs Festival, and as a float in the Ocala Christmas Parade.

Both the plant clinic and the mobile plant clinic provide University of Florida plant publications for sale, as well as brochures and other literature. The mobile plant clinic is available for plant-related events free-of-charge. For more information contact the Marion County Extension Service.
