Marion County Stormwater Division

The Stormwater Division has two fundamental duties.

First, we manage stormwater drainage through regulation of new development, oversight and maintenance of county roads and associated drainage systems, and by assisting citizens with drainage questions and concerns. …To read more about stormwater drainage or to evaluate a drainage concern of your own, visit the stormwater drainage issues page.

We also manage the Clean Water Program.   The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires Marion County to help preserve the environment and work to further reduce and minimize pollution in our natural bodies of water… To read more on the Clean Water Program visit the clean water page).
