MISSION STATEMENT
To establish efficient and effective
delivery of county fleet services by providing county
departments with safe, reliable, and economically sound
transportation and related support services to the needs of
the departments, while conserving vehicle value and
equipment investment.
Goals:
Fleet Management’s goal will be to
continue building customer relations, increase technician
training so as to be apprised of the latest repair
techniques and up to date equipment and facilities bringing
both in compliance with federal and state regulations as
well as the standard for public sector fleet management
operations. Fleet Management is also committed to finding
creative ideas and ways to enhance our productivity and
money saving practices that will keep this department on the
leading edge of industry standards.
Fleet Management Roles and Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain all vehicles and equipment
owned by the Board of County Commissioners

Provide economical maintenance and fueling services
v
Provide ASE certified mechanics
v
Successfully orchestrate acquisition and disposition
of vehicles and equipment in accordance with Board policy
