INTERN PROGRAM
Marion County Board of County Commissioners’ Cooperative
Education Program is an educational program allowing students
attending higher education institutions to obtain “real world”
work experience in their major field of study. This is a
win-win paid program that allows local students to gain
valuable work experience before entering the job market, and
gives the BCC experienced employees. This program is a great
opportunity that has made a difference in the lives of
tomorrow’s future professionals.
VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
Marion County Board of County Commissioners’ Volunteer Program
assists local students in fulfilling their educational
requirement while obtaining a college degree, and brings
together local citizens who want to volunteer their time and
efforts to local Government. This program has helped many
Marion County residents, ages 55 and better, utilize their
skills, knowledge and abilities while assisting their local
community with various activities and County services.
