Marion County government office closures for November holidays

November holiday closures for Marion County government offices are as follows:

Nov. 10: Marion County government offices will be closed for the Veterans Day holiday and will resume regular business hours on Monday, Nov. 13, with the following exceptions:
- All county-maintained parks and recreation areas will remain open for regular operating hours.
- Baseline Landfill will remain open for regular business hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11.
- All recycling centers will retain normal operating hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11.
- The Silver Springs Shores Community Center will remain open on Friday, Nov. 10. The office will close on Saturday, Nov. 11, while the pool area will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a community fish fry.
- Marion County Animal Services will resume regular business hours on Saturday, Nov. 11.
- All Marion County Public Library locations will also be closed on Saturday, Nov. 11. Headquarters-Ocala Public Library will resume regular operating hours on Sunday, Nov. 12.

Nov. 22: Marion County Public Library System locations will close at 6 p.m. Regular business hours will resume on Saturday, Nov. 25.

Nov. 23 to 24: Marion County government offices will be closed for the Thanksgiving Day holiday and will resume regular business hours on Monday, Nov. 27, with the following exceptions:
- All county-maintained parks and recreation areas will remain open for regular operating hours.
- Baseline Landfill will resume operations from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 24.
- All recycling centers will resume regular operating hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 24.
- The Silver Springs Shores Community Center will return to regular operating hours on Saturday, Nov. 25. Residents are invited to attend the Silver Springs Shores Community Center’s Thanksgiving Potluck and Light Up the Shores events the evening of Nov. 25.
- Marion County Animal Services will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, Nov. 28.
