The GIS team (Geographical Information Systems) is
responsible for the development of county maps, spatial
analysis, GIS training and the GIS Internet/Intranet website.
Web Development is responsible for the Employee Portal
and the Marion County website.
The PC/Networking Team
is responsible for the daily operation and repair of the
network and user computers.
The Telecommunications Team is
responsible for the daily operation and repair of the County
Wide IP phone system.
Security
Information Systems takes the security of our network and users
information very seriously. We work hard to keep the network
running smoothly and up to date with the latest patches and
fixes.
Training
Marion County Information Systems provides training
for employees to be able to utilize the technology tools we
provide. Instructor-led, On-line, and computer based
training are all available. The following is an example of
