The Network team is responsible for maintaining the County complex network infrastructure and servers.  The county currently has 81 servers running mission critical application including the County’s web site, email system, CDPlus permitting, Firehouse, SQL Server/Oracle databases, file & print functions, and the under lying Windows server operating systems.  This team is also responsible for the safeguarding of the County’s data by applying critical security patches, virus protection, daily tape backups, and the replication of data off-site.  Additionally this team is tasked with the implementation of new hardware/software systems to improve server, desktop and network capacities and efficiencies.
