Where will it be? On County Road 484, one mile southwest of the Belleview city limits.
	Who holds the construction contract? We have contracted with Ethridge Construction
	How long will construction take? Groundbreaking was an March 12, 2007 and we estimate a 14-month construction schedule.
	What will be the budget for the project? The construction contract is $2,588,980; the total project budget is $3,850,000
	How is the new library being funded? (1) One Cent Local Option Sales Tax; (2) State of Florida construction grant; and (3) Capital Projects Fund.
	What will be the size of the of the new building? The building will be 16,000 square fee, designed to be  expanded.  (The current Belleview Public Library is  4,076 square feet.)
	What will be some of the special features of the  new library building? 75,000 item collection capacity; 83 parking spaces; 10-person computer training lab; large program/community meeting room; separate children's area with dedicated programming room; special youth and teen area; 23 multi-purpose, public access computers; 1 self-service check-out station.
	How can I be a part of improving the library? The Friends of the Belleview Public Library have a semi-annual book sale to provide enhancements to the library that will not be covered by funding sources outlined above.  For additional information on how you may donate to the fund or assist the Friends of the Belleview Public Library visit their website.  You may also go the Marion County Public Library website at http://library.marioncountyfl.org and click on the Friends section.
