Mission Statement
The Parks
and Recreation Department serves Marion County residents and
visitors by providing park facilities, recreation services,
park planning and protection of our natural resources.
Goals
 | To improve access to recreation opportunities for all
Marion County citizens |
| To offer high quality, cost effective maintenance and
resource management of County lands |
| To improve existing parks and recreation opportunities
to satisfy current and future demand |
| To plan, develop and provide new recreational opportunities
to better serve community needs |
