The Solid Waste Department conducts household furniture collections twice
a year at all Recycling Centers, at no charge, for those who pay the Solid Waste Assessment.

THE DEFINITION OF HOUSEHOLD FURNITURE WOULD INCLUDE:
Sofa's, couches, beds, mattresses, box springs, bureau's, benches, chairs, lamps, end tables, and other type of furniture items.

ITEMS NOT CONSIDERED HOUSEHOLD FURNITURE: Electronics (tv's, computers, monitors, cell phones, etc.), C & D materials, carpet, doors, windows, light fixtures, sinks, toilets, awnings, compressors, junction boxes, electrical or fence wire, heat & air conditioning duct work, hay, gas tanks, asbestos, insulation, trampolines, and other no recyclable lawn toys and buildings.

PLEASE NOTE: Pesticides, gasoline, propane & gas tanks are not acceptable at any recycling center and must be taken to the Household Hazardous Waste building at Baseline Disposal Facility. Rev.12-26-07
