The Survey Section of the Marion County Office of the County
Engineer has a staff of seven including two registered Professional
Surveyors and Mappers. The division operates one design crew and one
G.P.S. crew with full time office staff to assist the public. The staff
handles field surveys for in house design and maintains control networks
throughout the County. Plats or plans submitted to the Office of the
County Engineer are reviewed by the Survey Section staff. The Survey
Section has a large archive of survey information and control from many
agencies that is available to the public. Requests for information can
