Right-of-Way Permitting
The Right-of-Way Permitting Section is responsible for administration of the permitting programs for driveway aprons and utilities constructed in county rights-of-way.
Additional responsibilities of the Right-of-way Permitting Division
- Coordinate utility relocations for county road projects
- plans for new subdivisions and commercial development for compliance with the Marion County Land Development Code.
- Provide support for the Stormwater Division by performing preliminary inspections and reports as needed.
There are 6 staff members assigned to this division: 3 are primarily office staff and 3 are field inspectors.
