Utilities General Customer Information
Billing Format
Marion County Utilities bills will indicate the water and/or sewer
base charges and water gallons used. Any past due charges
are also indicated as a previous balance. The bill will indicate
a turn off date for previous balances only. If you feel the
previous balance is an error please, contact our office to verify
your payment has been received. Bill are generated monthly
and are due monthly. Base charges are accumulated regardless
of whether your service is connected or disconnected.
Payment Options
There are several options available for the payment of your bill:
1.
Automatic Bank Draft:
This program has
proven to be very popular with over 5,000 customers enrolled.
For those that enroll in the program, your bill will indicate the
amount due and your payment will draft from your account on the
due date listed. To sign up, send a signed request with a
voided check and your customer number to
1219 S. Pine Avenue, Ocala,
FL 34471. It will take approximately 30
to 60 days to process your bank draft. You should continue
to pay your bill until the bill states “Paid From Bank Draft on
the Due Date”.

On-Line
Payment:
Monthly bills can be paid on-line using Visa or MasterCard credit
or debit cards. Our website is www.marioncountyfl.org.
Click on “On-Line Payments” in the top right hand corner; you
will need to activate an online account if you have not done so
and create a user name and password to log in. Be sure the
username and password you create will be something easy for you
to remember.
3. Payment
by Mail:
Mail your check or money order with your payment coupon to:
Marion County Utilities, P.O. Box 31596,
Tampa, Florida, 33631-3596. Use the payment envelope
provided with your billing statement.
4.
Drop Boxes/Office:
Marion County Utilities has four payment drop
box locations:
Freedom Library (5870 SW 95th Street)
Palm Cay Guard House (SW 106th Place)
Marion Oaks Community Center
(294 Marion Oaks Lane)
Silver Springs Shores Community Center
(590 Silver Road)
No late or Cash payments at drop boxes.
Payments can also be made at our
office located at:

Monday thru Friday from 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.
