A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MARION COUNTY, FLORIDA,
ESTABLISHING FEE SCHEDULES FOR FIRE PERMITS, INSPECTIONS AND SERVICES, AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners
of Marion County, Florida is authorized to establish fees pursuant to Marion
County Ordinance No. 01-34; and
WHEREAS, the Board desires by this Resolution to establish fees
for the administration and enforcement of said Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it Resolved the Board of County Commissioners
of Marion County, Florida: |

SECTION 1.
FIRE INSPECTIONS AND SERVICES. The Building Department shall
charge the following fees for Fire Permits, Inspections and Services. |

SECTION 2. REFUND POLICY.
No refunds shall be given for application fees or permit fees unless
collected in error by the Fire or Building Departments. Fees for Special Events
or Standby Services not used will be refunded if notified of event cancellation
48 hours in advance or at the discretion of the Fire Chief.

SECTION 3. REPEAL. Resolution No. 99-R-280, of the
Board of County Commissioners of Marion County, Florida, is hereby repealed.
|
|
|
SECTION 4.
EFFECTIVE DATE. This resolution shall take effect on October
1, 2004.
|
|
