Upon successful completion of the training, participants will receive a certificate of achievement from the University of Florida Food Safety and Quality Program. Once you pass the ServSafe® Manager's exam, you will receive a national certification valid for five years. Certification is required in Florida for food managers of all establishments licensed by the Department of Business and Professional Regulations, the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and selected licensees of the Department of Health.

Whether your child is a member of 4-H or not, come enjoy a week of overnight camping fun at the 4-H Camp Ocala in the Ocala National Forest. There'll be loads of fun activities like kayaking, archery, crafts, orienteering, and swimming! Based on year’s theme of “Who’s Your Super Hero," we will be exploring the many ways in which everyday heroes impact our lives and the ways in which we can become heroes for others! Camp is open to youth ages 8 (as of September 1, 2009) to 13 and is run by the University of Florida 4-H Youth Development Program. There will be a mandatory meeting for parents and youth interested in attending this camp on Tuesday, June 1 at 6 pm in the new Extension Service Auditorium on Jacksonville Road. See flyer...
