Mobile home repair program

The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Emergency Mobile Home Repair Program is designed to aid owner-occupied mobile homeowners with emergency housing problems that pose a serious and immediate threat to the health, safety or welfare of the household. The program is only intended for full-time, homesteaded residents of Marion County. Emergency repairs only may be provided to income-eligible households for health and safety issues such as an inoperable water pump or plumbing leak, failing septic, roof leak or any condition deemed potentially hazardous by staff and able to be repaired within the confines of the program.

Mobility ramp program

The mobility ramp program uses Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds received from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and State Housing Initiative Partnership (SHIP) to pay for portable mobility ramps for homeowners who cannot afford them.
