Mark your calendar for the ribbon-cutting and dedication celebration for the new Belleview Public Library. This event is planned for 10 a.m., Saturday, May 31, 2008 at 13145 S.E. Highway 484, Belleview (The library is on the south side of County Road 484).

Two or more county commissioners plan to attend this event. Also scheduled to take part in the program:

· Magician - Dandy Magic

· Belleview High School Jazz Band

· Belleview Middle School band

· Storyteller Don Leonard

The new library opens for business at 10 a.m., Monday, June 2, 2008.  The new hours are:

· 10 a.m. - 8 p.m., Monday and Tuesday

· 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday
