The Marion County Board of County

Commissioners are pleased to announce the opening of the new seven slip mooring facility, sundeck, canoe launch, boardwalks, boater staging area, ADA ramp, walkway ramp and swimming area at KP Hole Park.

 

 

A ribbon cutting celebration has been

scheduled for 1:30 p.m., Friday, May 16 at the Park.  Children’s activities, river tours and light refreshments will be served.

 

 

KP HOLE PARK UNVEILING WATERFRONT IMPROVEMENTS

Funding for this project was provided by a Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program (FRDAP) grant, Florida Boater Improvement Project (FBIP) funds, the Coastal Impact Assistance

Program, the Pennies for Parks fund and the Parks and Recreation Fee Fund.
