Lost a pet?
Stray animals are brought in by animal control officers or by concerned citizens. Search for your pet using the form below and click “Show Pets at Animal Services.” The results will show the animals currently in our stray areas as well as animals available for adoption that originally came to our shelter as strays.
There will be fees associated with redeeming your pet. They consist of an impound fee, boarding, vaccinations, medical treatments, county license, microchip and also special handling or capture fees if applicable. Please refer to our schedule of fees for our current prices. A staff member will inform you of your costs upon redemption. Phone quotes are general prices only.
Click “Show Pets Found by Public” to see found animals that are not at the Animal Center. Not all animals will have photos. This is because a citizen may report a found animal but not provide a photo.
You may also register your lost pet. You will receive an email if a matching found pet is registered. You will only receive the email if the pet is found and registered through PetHarbor by a member of the public, not if the pet is turned into the Animal Center or is brought in by animal control officers. It’s important to check the pets at Animal Services often, even if you register the lost pet.

Clicking on any of the grey boxes above will take you to a site run by PetHarbor.com. MCAS does not monitor their pages, nor receive updates and emails from that site. Please read the pages carefully to be sure to understand what services and options are being provided.
Important! If you are looking for an animal to adopt, please use the adoptable pet search. Some of the animals in the lost pet search are not available for adoption. If the animal does become available, it will be listed under the adoptable pets. Animal Services will not “hold” or take requests from citizens or rescue groups for animals that are on our lost pages.
