Marion County is submitting grant applications through the Florida Department of Equal Opportunity (DEO) for 30 county facilities impacted by recent disasters to carry out strategic and high-impact activities to mitigate disaster risks and reduce future losses.

A summary of public comments received on the proposed mitigation community development block grant applications will be included as evidence that meets compliance with the DEO’s 14-day public notice requirement when submitted by June 30, 2020.
