- Contractors must be pre-approved and in good standing on the county's approved contractors list. Experienced staff help you through the process, handle the bid/contract process, and oversee all work to ensure that all work meets our high standards of workmanship.
There are no monthly loan payments as long as you remain in the home as your primary residence. After 20 years, the loan is completely forgiven.
Mobility ramp program
The mobility ramp program uses Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds received from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and State Housing Initiative Partnership (SHIP) to pay for portable mobility ramps for homeowners who cannot afford them.
