All Marion County Board od County Commissioners employees and volunteers are covered by the Florida Workers' Compensation statutes for injuries or illnesses that arise from or in the course and scope of their employment. Immediately.
Employee Assistance Program The county recognizes that employees may sometimes need support and treatment for psychological or emotional challenges. Where feasible, the county will work in cooperation with area physicians and treatment programs to ensure that employees requesting treatment are given prompt attention. Employee Health Clinic determines eligibility.
Tuition Reimbursement Employees may receive 50 percent reimbursement of tuition expenses, up to a maximum of $700.00 per year. Employees must be part of an approved degree program and receive passable grades. Immediate after six months of employment.
Uniforms Some departments issue work clothes or uniforms relative to specific job functions. Department determines eligibility.
